A Wanted Man’s Zephyr is our #1 pick for improving density & fleece weight on our coloured females. Zephyr is the best male sired by A Wanted Man in North America before his departure to Europe. With his genetics somewhat limited, he is unrelated to most bloodlines in Canada. He would be able to cross virtually any females in our herd that are not his paternal sisters (Miss Saigon & Moka) or their offsprings. His sire, Majestic Meadow’s A Wanted Man, is a Judge’s Choice & multi-champion son of multi “Herdsire of the Year” winner Jeremiah’s Peruvian Jumanji. A Wanted Man is the grandson of Futurity Champion & also “Herdsire of the Year”, Crystal Spartan. On Zephyr’s maternal line, his dam is 4x Champion Aero’s Myka of Chelsea whose dam was AOBA National Black Reserve Champion, and her sire collected 4 Supreme/Judge’s Choice awards & 9 Championships. Descending from generations of award-winning alpacas on both sides proving that Zephyr’s quality is no fluke. His fleece blew me away! It combines desirable traits for the fiber industry with an impressive fleece weight, high degree of organisation that is uniform throughout his blanket, soft hand and a superior level of density.
